Driven magazine: the November Issue

Driven November cover

In this issue, we bring you some rather interesting features on EVs. This includes embarking on the first EV road trip that saw several electric vehicles currently on sale in SA travel from Johannesburg to Cape Town, in a quest to showcase the viability of EVs being used to travel long distances. Of course, this can only be viable if there are reliable charging stations along most national road corridors. Then we also bring you our first driving impression on the Porsche Taycan, the company’s latest EV, which could very well be the benchmark all electric vehicles to aspire to.

Furthermore, you can read our first-drive impressions of the latest BMW M cars; including the fastest one yet, the M8 Competition, while we also get behind the wheel of the X3M Competition. Still on BMW M models, we also bring you a story on the precursor of M road cars, the BMW 530 MLE that has recently been restored by the local outfit to its former glory. We also chat with Domagoj Dukec, the Head of BMW Design Studio on what inspires the firm’s product designs, on our recent visit to the Frankfurt Motor Show.

So, sit back and enjoy the read!
