Whether you are a dedicated motorcyclist, motor enthusiast or just looking for an exciting fun-filled day out for the whole family, South Africa Bike Festival is the must-attend motoring event of the year that is held at the ALL-NEW refurbished Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
The South Africa Bike Festival will be held at the newly rejuvenated Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Gauteng from Friday, 27 May to Sunday, 29 May 2016. Kyalami will open its gates for a fun-filled time of live music and entertainment, new adventures, leisure pursuits and all things engine, petrol and motorcycling.
This event aims to become South Africa’s leading motorcycle, music and lifestyle festival that will showcase entertainment for families as well as educate and encourage the new youthful market about safe and responsible motorcycling. Over 20,000 visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience the brand new circuit facilities at the newly refurbished and much-anticipated re-opening of Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
From superbikes to custom builds, scooters to off-road, and everything in between, visitors can expect to test ride and buy motorcycles out of an amazing selection of 2016 models from their favourite manufacturers.
Kahn Morbee, from the Parlotones and judge on The Voice South Africa, will perform LIVE on the Friday evening at the first South Africa Bike Festival. Finishing up the Saturday set on the main stage is Gangs of Ballet. Added to this line-up are bands and artists such as the cool Majozi, Reason, and The Motherland. Another reason not to miss out.
However, many more treats await, such as the amazing foodie experience the festival will offer. Visitors can expect unique and themed food and drink experiences including food trucks, bars, and braai vibes. Furthermore, Over 2,000 motorcycles will participate in a mass charity ride on the morning of 29 May 2016. Registered motorcyclists plus pillion riders will leave a local shopping centre at 09h00 for a short ride around Johannesburg, finishing up with two laps around the newly upgraded circuit. Plus, kids under 12 enter for free.
