2. WHAT ARE SOME BEST-SELLING MERCEDES-BENZ MODELS AT WONDERBOOM?

Our two best-selling models currently are the GLA and GLC.

The GLA is a sporty all-rounder, combining SUV character with an athletic silhouette and confident stance.

The GLC, on the other hand, expresses modern luxury through the design concept of “Sensual Purity”, making it a standout in the premium mid-size SUV space.

3. WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF FULL ELECTRIC AND HYBRID MODELS, WHAT HAS THE RESPONSE FROM LOYAL CUSTOMERS BEEN?

We have retailed electric vehicles to traditional customers who previously owned several Mercedes-Benz internal combustion models. Our Mercedes-Benz EQ test drives have delivered an exhilarating experience. The instant power, lower total cost of ownership, and the current EQ instalment offering (valid until September 2025) have all proved to be major drawcards.

4. WHAT HAS CHANGED IN THE WAY CUSTOMERS ENGAGE WITH YOUR DEALERSHIP POST-COVID AND WITH DIGITISATION?

Post-COVID, we’ve seen greater engagement with our digital platforms. Customers can now shop online, whether for parts, service bookings, or vehicle purchases. The experience is seamless and even allows customers to configure new vehicles tailored to their exact requirements.

5. HOW DOES YOUR DEALERSHIP KEEP UP WITH THE DEMANDS OF ELECTRIFICATION?

With sustainability being a key global focus, we’ve begun installing the latest charging technology at the dealership. We’ve also invested in training our technical team with the skills required to maintain and support our growing electric vehicle line-up.

6. WHAT IS YOUR LEADERSHIP APPROACH, AND HOW DOES IT INFLUENCE THE CULTURE AT WONDERBOOM?

Empowering employees to express their passion for the brand and connect authentically with customers has been key to shaping our unique dealership culture. We encourage our team to innovate, evolve our processes, and constantly look for ways to optimise service delivery.

7. WHAT’S ON THE HORIZON FOR WONDERBOOM IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS?

The following 12 months open opportunities to further enhance our dealership experience. We aim to elevate the sense of luxury for our customers and look forward to welcoming new Mercedes-Benz model introductions that showcase the latest design language and technological innovations.

8. WITH THE ARRIVAL OF THE NEW V-CLASS AND VITO, WHAT HAS THE RESPONSE BEEN FROM CUSTOMERS?

The new V-Class offers a seamless blend of luxury and practicality, providing exceptional comfort and elegance suitable for both business and leisure.

The Vito 119 Tourer Pro carries the DNA of the V-Class, offering a premium van experience that blends versatility, comfort, and innovation. Meanwhile, the Vito Mixto is geared for business, combining passenger and cargo functionality. Both models have been well received, and we are excited for the EQV, the fully electric V-Class, which is expected to launch in 2026.
